1 Day Discovering Hoa Lua, Tam Coc & Mua Cave

Located in Ninh Binh province, about 100km south of Hanoi, The Tam Coc (Three grottoes) – Bich Dong area is a part of the UNESCO heritage site Trang An Complex. It is dubbed “Ha Long Bay on land’’ – a UNESCO world natural heritage in Quang Ninh Province. In the summer, May and June, hundreds of photographers and millions of tourists come The Tam Coc to capture the stunning seasonal landscapes of rice fields ripen along both sides of Ngo Dong River, which makes this gorgeous place glistening in silver and gold.

A one day private tour from Ha Noi will give you a chance to visit 3 of the famous places in Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu,  Tam Coc & Mua Cave.

Breakfast at your hotel in Old Quarter, then our guide will pick you up to Ninh Binh in around 2.5-hour transfer.

Reaching at Hoa Lu Ancient capital – the first capital of the feudal stat of Vietnam, you will visit ancient architecture under Dinh Dynasty. Then discover King Dinh and King Le’s Temple. Both temples were built in 17^th century, meanwhile the temple of Emperor of Dinh Tien Hoang in honor of Vietnam’s first emperor with stone & wood carvings, Le Temple is almost the same as Dinh Temple in term of architecture design, except for some details.

Next, you will visit Mua Cave, which are dubbed Vietnam’s miniature Great Wall of China, where you can start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain, climbing more than 500 steps to watch the spectacular rice valley with precious view of the nature.

Lunch at local restaurant

In the afternoon, you will visit Tam Coc, often considered as “Ha Long Bay on land” for its limestone cave system and historical monuments from The Tran dynasty in the 13^th and 14^th centuries.

Embarking on a sampan boat to go along the cave and countryside landscape. You will start discovering limestone caves and just enjoy looking at the awesome scenery.

Immersing in beautiful nature, then you will come back car and go back to Hanoi.
